Richie Lau

Physiotherapist

Richie is a highly experienced physiotherapist at Worcester Podiatry, bringing over eight years of clinical expertise across both the NHS and private healthcare settings. He holds a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Brighton and a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Exeter.

Richie has a strong background in trauma, orthopedics, and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. His clinical work includes rehabilitation following spinal and joint surgery, managing sports injuries, and supporting individuals in returning to their daily activities with confidence. He is also qualified in acupuncture (AACP) and hydrotherapy (ATACP), and places a strong emphasis on strength-based rehabilitation in his treatment approach.

Richie’s approach is evidence-based, compassionate, and focused on helping you move better and live well.

Outside of the clinic, Richie enjoys strength training, particularly working toward his goal of a 200kg squat. He is an avid coffee enthusiast and enjoys discovering new cafés. Richie also speaks English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
