During your visit, our podiatrists will evaluate the wound, checking for signs of infection, assessing circulation by checking pulses, and evaluating sensation to ensure there’s no loss of feeling that could complicate healing.

We follow best practices and use advanced techniques to treat wounds effectively. For high-risk patients, such as those with diabetes, we also offer pressure plate technology to assess foot pressures, as recommended by NICE guidelines. This helps identify areas at risk of further breakdown or ulceration, allowing us to take preventive measures.
